"Mischief"
was a duo, formed in Bristol in August 1982 with the ex-Bollards
members Eddie Lovell and Bob Meaker, after Bob left Wales and
went in search of his old Bollards mates, Eddie and Brandy, in
Bristol.
Bob played guitar (1971 Les Paul DeLuxe) and bass (1970's Fender
Precision, belonging to Eddie) and Eddie played bass, banjo, mandolin,
violin and keyboards.
Who played what depended on the songs, so that there was always
a bass and drums on each song.
Having introduced the 2 "Mischief" musicians, we must
now mention the 3rd member of the duo, if you you can follow us,
(3 in a duo?) and don't forget "a musician's best friend
is a drummer"

Our regular drummer was called "King Korg". He was actually
a drum machine, to be exact a Korg Rhythm 55. At that time this
was a great machine which was used by many bands (Pet Shop Boys,
Duran Duran, etc)
However, being great friends with our 2 legged REAL ex-Bollards
drummer "Brandy", we always tried to use him for some
of our "fun gigs". Brandy's drum timing was not as accurate
as "King Korg's" but his personality stole the show.
