The
Bristol comedy group "Bollards" was first formed
in 1975 as a three piece unit with: Eddie Lovell (various instruments),
Ray Elder (bass) and Graham Jeffries (drums), all previous
members of the renowned "Scrumpy and Western" band "Shag
Connors & The Carrot Crunchers".
Within a short time, Bollards were touring clubs throughout the UK
and appeared in January 1976 on the TV show New Faces.
Shortly afterwards Graham left the Band and was replaced on drums
by Brandy Bennett and in April 1976, Bob Meaker (guitar)
joined the band and the stage was set...... |
